What is the legal process in the UK for Euthanasia, or is it still strictly taboo?

There are many countries that prefer to keep this subject under the carpet, some there are legal processes whereby Euthanasia can be administered, what is it for UK? I myself would qualify in some countries, to end my suffering! Please!

Both euthanasia and assisted suicide are illegal under English law. Euthanasia could be prosecuted as murder or manslaughter. 'Assisting or encouraging' another person's suicide is also prohibited. Is there anything that could be done to relieve your suffering besides euthanasia?

I can't, things are getting worse, even sympathy from GP, no real sense to carry on, so many 'brick walls' at least three serious reasons to end it all, Epilepsy, Prostate Cancer and now state of diabetes2. It's my relatives that I really feel sorry for, me trying to keep cheerful for them, but essentially it is affecting them, they realise I'm not exactly healthy, been that way most of my life, it's affecting their health as well! My local health centre is aware of my situation, of course their hands tied as far as euthanasia, but can sympathise with me! I am 67 retired, but I feel like an animal, who needs to be put out of their agony!
