Hi I do a similar dish by dipping the fish in egg and then lightly covering in wholemeal breadcrumbs. 'Chips' are baked potato wedges, boil for for a few minutes, spray with light oil spray and bake alongside the fish. Serve with traditional mushy peas.
Good, but not as healthy as it could be. The white flour used for the batter has a jigh GI and ciuld be a problem for diabetics and the carbs as well as refined seed oil used for frying could cause systemic ibflammation but ok for an occasional treat especially as, if you use cod, it will contain a quantity of omega3 oils which ase good for building nerves.
