This is what I had for dinner Friday night. It was really good and it’s been a while since I got to have a steak with roasted Parmesan broccoli and cut carrots. The entire meal was 68 total carbs. with a gluten free oatmeal raisin cookie for dessert.

Thank you for letting me know that, Hidden . Did your wife have the steak with any sauce? 😀👍🥩

Thank you, Sue! I haven’t had a steak for a while until Friday night. I usually have a steak for a birthday dinner, but it was a special occasion Friday. 😀👍👍

That looks wonderful, Hidden . I will have to see if we can have Broccoli Soup in a few days. We have leftover quiche from last night's dinner and plan to have that for lunch on Monday. It has broccoli and two types of cheeses with a brown rice crust. :-)

That looks really tempting! I need to learn how to cook steak!

When you get steak at the store/butcher, put it in a stove and you can decide if you'll eat it off the bone or cut up the pieces and turn them into chunks/slices to be added to the rest of your meal. The steak I had in the picture was cooked and picked up from a restaurant's drive up and car delivery. :-)

Thank you for saying that, Finding_Fitness . It was a while since I had a steak for any meal— before February 25th.😀👍🥩
