Just a short blog on how tiredness and boredom have been a massive hindrance in my bid to eat healthier.

Good luck with your plan Sean. I’m just thinking I drink a pint of water with a tablespoon of organic cider vinegar in sometimes when I feel hungry which works also having low cal snacks in such as fruit and nuts might be better alternatives to reduce your calorie intake. Best wishes

Hey Jeff, I am thinking the same. When I next go shopping I intend to buy lots of fruit and veg, things that can actually help me to stay healthy and are good for you rather than chocolate and crisps. If they're not in the house, I can't eat them!

It’s a massive change in your life style and eating habits Sean it’s not easy especially if you’re working as well. So often I feel hungry so have nuts or better still distract myself by keeping busy on something. So often I’ve been hungry and had to fight temptation. Carbs do make you hungry quicker. Perhaps LCHF is the way for you that’s what I’ve been doing.Don’t give up you’ve done it before so you can do it again.

Best wishes

Jeff

Why do you have the rubbish in the house? Get rid of it now. Take unopened packets to the supermarket foodbank bin, open packets to the park to feed the birds, and anything you can't give away into the rubbish. Mix it with with trash so you can't retrieve it later,

If there are people in your house that still want to eat junk, they can, they just have to buy and consume it while out, don't bring it into the house. If they love you, they will do this. And anyway, junk is no good for anyone. The healthier they are, the longer they can go before they notice the effects, but it is harming them.

I agree. We've decided that the next shopping trip is going to be much more whole food and health conscious. The stuff that's in the house at the moment will run out eventually, we've just decided to replace it as it disappears so the kids gradually get used to it not being there. Good advice though, thank you!
