I baked this earlier it was very wet out so baking is even nicer. Itโs a very simple recipe. 250g gluten free self raising flour 150g butter 3eggs 4bananas (one for the top) 100g soft brown sugar mixed spice and a little vanilla bean extract. Mix together spread into a cake tin and put slices of banana on top before baking for approx 40 mins 170C
I had a slice with a nice mug of tea and it went down a treat...๐
That looks really nice Jerry I like the pattern round the edges when I get my new house I will start baking again I used to like making a nice Victoria sponge deep with raspberry jam and vanilla essence butter cream in middle I put loads of vanilla essence in I love that cream like that but find other butter creams sickly and sweet lol if you like this cake you can make me one and I'll enjoy looking at the picture and at least that way I won't get fat lol hope you have a nice night ๐ค๐๐บ
