Has your doctor suggested that you change your diet? Have you checked out the Gluten Free Guerrillas group also on HU? healthunlocked.com/glutenfr...
Hi there, you need to see a doctor. It could just be something like IBS which can be managed effectively by changes to your diet.
Wishing you all the best for a speedy diagnosis and recovery!
I would strongly recommend that you make an appointment to see your GP as soon as possible ie contact them today and make clear the severity of your symptoms (and in particular the pain). It would be worth writing down your symptoms so you don't forget anything (including that this has been a change from your previous bowel habit) If you can take someone with you as well, that would be even better.
You have several red flags which need to be checked out. As Hidden has said, it may be something that can be managed (perhaps after some initial treatment) with healthy eating, but right now that could be a dangerous and time-wasting diversion.
Hello User1345 welcome to the forum and I agree with the others please seek medical advice and do let us know how you get on.
I wish you well as it sounds uncomfortable.
Jerry. 😊
Hi User1345. I agree with all the others. Good luck.
A high-fibre diet appears to reduce the risk of developing various conditions, including heart disease, diabetes, diverticular disease, constipation and colon cancer. Fibre is important for the health of the digestive system and for lowering cholesterol.
Most people should have a fibre intake of 30g daily but the truth is most people have half that or less which is not very good for the digestive system, my way around this is to have a Chia pudding every day, sometimes for breakfast sometimes for lunch! Besides being very tasty it gives me 20g of fibre and with my other meals combined it takes me over the 30g of fibre every day, plus its only 29 carbs = 9 net carbs in total. Half a cup of Alpro Coconut milk, 3 tbs of Chia seeds, 1 tsp of honey if you wish, 20g of Alpro Coconut Yoghurt. or any milk Mix it all and then put it in the fridge for 3 hours or overnight then add the blackberries or raspberries and the yoghurt (100g) of Blackberries, YUMMY.
Hello.best go back to your doctor as it might be a poly and ibs.
