Microplastics in Marine Life

Hi, hope you are well. I recently watched a documentary on Sky News with their Sky Ocean Rescue team which claimed that micro-plastics are getting consumed by Fish and on average a person who relies mostly on fish for diet consumes at least 11000 pieces of micro-plastics in a year. So, to be on a safe side is it better to consume fish brought up in a farm rather than Ocean or River. Let me know what you guys think about this!

Hi syednc

I will try to see if I can watch that documentary on the weekend. I feel sad to think of all the plastics and micro-plastics in the environment.

I would not consider farmed fish as safe. According to an uncercover expose I watched recently, Norway is one of the most toxic sources of farmed fish. Breathtakingly beautiful ffiords though.
