I've decided to omit peanut butter from my diet as I have read a few articles that they aren't as healthy as I first thought and also because they are not a nut, they are a legume. I successfully made some gorgeous cashew nut butter a couple of days ago, it is yummy and quite a bit of it has gone now as I used it today in my raw fruit bars.

Hi Alicia, I'll have to check out what you say about peanut butter as I'm partial to that myself.
Now isn't it interesting making milk, butter, cheese or cream from nuts or seeds and this looks really good and you know exactly whats in it. I'd be interested to see your raw fruit bars made with it too.
It's very interesting what you can make with nuts. I'll take a photo of the bars, they taste delicious as do the ones I made with almond butter which I made just over a week ago.

That's good and I'm glad you have found the flavour of the cashew nut butter to your liking. I have made almond butter as well but so far cashew is my favourite. I am going to try walnut some time but not sure when. Enjoy.
