Good morning everyone, today is the start of Fair Trade Fortnight which's to raise awareness of the importance of far trade for everyone, so that big multi national co's do not take advantage of developing countries and exploit their need to export to us.
I support Fair Trade products and I would describe my food buying habits as whole food, organically produced and free range inclined, however compared to vegans and vegetarians, ethically I'm probably a selfish consumer.
I personally do not like designer foods especially when farmers have to buy expensive seeds from big chemo/agriculture suppliers.
Here's a couple of links about why we should buy Fair trade:

All the veg here I bought on Saturday and I have a few baby sweet peppers left and have eaten plenty of other fruit and veg as well. It surprises me when I see how much we eat over a few meals. Which shows just how important what we eat is as its our fuel.
Have a great day everyone and remember we are what we eat and thats not just nutritionally, there are the political and ethical issues with all our choices.
