Hi guys, any tips on how to stop eating rubbish! My meals are very healthy and not overly big but my downfall is what I eat in between. Sometimes I just can’t stop. Need help!! 😭

Hi😊.

This is my problem too!. I’ve started to eat more nuts and yoghurt (plain with a dash of honey or fruit)and smoothies which I find leave me feeling fuller for longer and generally have stopped eating junk as I’ve taken it out of the house, my kids eat less rubbish and way more fruit now too.

Also I haven’t denied myself anything but have said to myself if I fancy anything sweet then I make it from scratch... and I don’t have loads of time to whip up a choc cake every time I crave so I end up reaching for fruit/nuts instead.

Hope that helps. 😊

Thank you. Can I ask if you have low fat or normal yogurt as I’m trying to stay away from sweeteners too??

I don’t have low fat as they are usually high in sugars. I think plain bio yoghurt is the best and adding your own fruit... I stew apple/rhubarb or keep frozen fruit in freezer strawberries/cherries etc, then you know how much sugar you’re putting in😊.

I’ve always stayed away from low fat, margarine and sweetener products. I’m not sure they are ‘better’ for us in the long run.

Try swapping to healthy unprocessed snacks.

Nuts, seeds, >70% cocoa chocolate & fruit. The nuts & seeds are good for protein & healthy oils, so will fill you up for longer.

Almonds & walnuts are good! :)
