Hi, have just found this community having been part of the weight loss one for a while. Have recently joined the gym, and am enjoying it. As I'm slowly toning and building muscle, my weight loss has stopped, so I think for me, I need to stop being ruled by the scales, and concentrate more on healthy eating to support my new love of getting fit (never thought I'd ever say that!). My life has been diet after diet for decades, but I've never got to a target...so I'm now concentrating on changing my lifestyle. I have lost 3" off my waist, and 2" of my thighs ( should have taken more starting measurements) so I know I'm changing, and I feel so much better for it. Anxiety levels are dropping too, so I'm happy. Looking forward to learning more about good nutrition from you all!

Thank you. I'm in the UK. I do have a personal trainer and he's really helping, although I feel like I'm about to expire each time. I gave up alcohol in January and I 'treat' myself to pt sessions, costs less then the wine did!! I have a way to go till I'm a healthy weight but I will get there, my mind is focused now. Thanks for the food advice, I don't eat much meat but I could happily eat fish every day.
