You cannot move back into time. But heathy diet and physical excercises can make you slim, trim and fit.So, please don't be sad.
I'm no sad, just unhappy 😞 with the way I look.
I also have chronic insomnia,so this dosn't help me as well as I sleep during the day,as I don't sleep at all at night.
So it makes it impossible for me to get enough exercise,as I'm catching up on my 😴
For sleep issues I have my own 1-2 punch. Search up 'asmr' on YouTube. It's like a type of relaxation video that really calms you down and gives you these incredible tingles throughout your body. You'll know what I mean once you watch it.
My other thing is something called 'sleepphones' which are basically these really comfy headphones (it's like a warm headband with speakers inside) that you can sleep with. You can lie your head on the pillow whilst wearing the headphones. You connect the headphones to your phone via Bluetooth and watch asmr to fall asleep.
When it comes to weight loss, I believe you can't start losing weight until you start limiting the things that stress you out in life and increasing the things that make you happy. You need to be happy to start achieving the best results.
Furthermore, do exercise that's actually fun, don't just run/walk around the block because that's boring. If I were you I'd do 'isha yoga'. I haven't done it yet but the reviews are fantastic. Just look it up on YouTube and practise it every morning/night.
You can pm me if you want, I'd be happy to help!
They don't work I've tried them my doctor gave me a CD to listen too but it never worked.
But thanks anyway.
Well there's like a billion different asmr videos on YouTube. Literally search up anything related to asmr. 'asmr typing', 'asmr hotel check-in', 'asmr haircut'. Those are 3 examples of what to search up. Use some decent headphones and you're good to go. With asmr there are things called 'triggers'. These are specific sounds that work really well for an individual. Could be the sound of typing or tapping or page flipping, you just need to watch some videos and find out what works best for you. It's a really pleasant way to relax in the evening.

Revamp your food intake
Cut down or eliminate sugars, refined carbs and soda if any
Start taking home made healthy and real foods
Minimize packaged foods
Add some healthy fats like avocado, butter , walnuts
Start some simple exercise prog like walking . This will set your mood right
I found for me quitting sugar and having a low carb, moderate protein and high fat diet paired with exercise has given me the waist I always wanted. I started this in March and it's also good for lowering blood sugar and I have bags of energy. I'm 56
I am all for people being a healthy weight but anyone who has been blessed to carry a child could usefully think positively about their amazing body even if there are some things like might like to change about it, and some things which the evidence suggests would be prudent to change. [You might like to consider how your daughter would feel if she read what you have written...]
It sounds as though you have quite a lot of psychological stuff going on that goes beyond the remit of a Healthy Eating forum (but positive that this is where you've posted!) I hope you have been referred for some talking therapy - the Compassionate Mind approach (and yes, this is available on the NHS) might be particularly good. You also deserve to have some medical input to help you with the sleep issues - your GP is right not to be giving medication but there are plenty of appropriate strategies to try and you deserve some support in building a better structure for your life. It's not easy.
I'll just make one suggestion and that is to stay away from celebrity magazines, possibly women's magazines in general, and tabloid newspapers, including online.
Definitely follow-up with your doctor to make sure your basic physical health is fine. Lots of good suggestions have been made. Consider hiring a health coach. Look up the site: Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN).
Hi there just a quick question does the passionflower tablets have the same effect as the tea you suggested.
