Hi County12,

Welcome to the Healthy Eating forum. I looked at the NHS Choices website for 'treatment' options for chronic pancreatitis, and here is the page, if you'd like to take a look:

nhs.uk/Conditions/Pancreati...

Specifically, I noticed that it said regarding Dietary Changes:

"Dietary changes

As chronic pancreatitis can affect your ability to digest certain foods, you may need to change your diet.

Your GP may be able to provide you with appropriate dietary advice, or may refer you to a dietitian, who will draw up a suitable dietary plan.

A low-fat, high-protein, high-calorie diet with fat-soluble vitamin supplements is usually recommended, but don't make changes to your diet without consulting a health professional."

Therefore the first recommended step is to consult with your healthy professional - to ensure whatever dietary advice you follow meets your individual needs.

I also saw a website online, which I think is American, and is the:

National Pancreas Foundation website.

pancreasfoundation.org/pati...

They seem to have some recipes there that you might like to take a look at, but again - discussing with your GP is advisable - as I would imagine it is vital to get good dietary advice specific to your condition.

I hope this is helpful, as a starting point.

Lowcal :-)
