High vitamin A foods include sweet potatoes, carrots, dark leafy greens, winter squashes, lettuce, dried apricots, cantaloupe, bell peppers, fish, liver, and tropical fruits are good for skin health. This viata in cant be stored in the body so these foods need to be eaten regukarly.

Fats in the form of animal oils are also important but try not to have too much in the way of animal oils as they can increase the ' bad ' cholesterol LDL.

Are you always in centrally heated buildings with no fresh air. That can dry out skin as well.

And of course plenty of water. All day, every day.

The application of coconut oil upon the skin, as well as its consumption, will assist in improving dryness.

Consumption of fish and fish oil will also help, too. Salmon is particularly good, as it contains high levels of vitamin D - something that's much needed in the winter months.

Eat avocados every day and organic olive oil

Can use both on your skin topically too

Wild pink/red salmon 2/3 times week ( small tin) great too

I rinse as very high in salt

Hope this helps :-)

Hi Jennyjolly, I like that name. it runs off the tongue. I love love love avocado so would happily follow your suggestions as my skin tends to be dry. I know it is good cholestrol but I am trying to lower my cholestrol . 2well-ington

You could have garlic/chopped up onion with the avo as they help avoid cholesterol build up

Good luck with it all :-)
