Another Stone bites the dust.

Since joining this website and initially starting off with the NHS help I have lost my 7th stone in 5 and a half months.

Yes, that is a lot of weight off in a short period of time but I was sitting at 27 and a half stone and was very inactive and eating junk food by the barrel load. Since I started I eat 3 square meals a day (at least one with a lot of veg) and I go to the gym 6 times a week where I do cardio and run jog/run 5k along with weights and cycling. Also try to walk to most places I go to.

My weight loss is slowing down, I know this is only natural as I get lighter. I will need to exercise harder.

The thing for me now is I'm going into high street shops and clothes are actually fitting me. Before this diet I was at the mercy of Jacamo now I have much more freedom to go where I want and have a wider selection. My fitness levels are great at the moment, I know longer sweat climbing a flight of stairs lol

I'm posting this in the hope that people who were/are in the same boat as me read this and think to themselves that they can do it too.

As I've said in previous posts, before this I tried every diet imaginable. This time there were no fad dieting, just general common sense and determination to get the weight off.

I hope to post in the future about my further weight loss. Wish me luck!

You have gone the wrong way, easily done. 2.2 pounds is equal to 1 kg so 14 pounds or 1stone is around 7 kg. not 28! When in the UK we started to talk about 1 kg being the rough equivalent of a bag of sugar which was sold in 2 pound bags.
