I've also got a new blog that is only a few days old here 280miles.blogspot.com where I'll be documenting a walk across southern England.
As for this week, the scotch broom is blooming magnificently. It's got a really distinctive perfume which is quite strong especially in the early morning. I planted some in my garden a few years ago and it's finally blooming. I now have a heavily scented garden that the bumblebees love!
Think I may be on the mend
