How to identify trees, an easy guide 🌲🌳🌴

Hi everyone,

I realised that I only know some trees and found this a really good guide. I think its really good the more we know about the countryside as it gives us an added interest like knowing what bird it is so here's an easy to use guide to UK trees:

countrylife.co.uk/gardens/a...

One thing I do when I'm some where quiet and tranquil and my mind is somewhere else I gently focus on every detail of a leaf or a flower or a piece of bark and bang I'm back in the present and everything is what it is...🌞

As its raining I took this is my back garden in the drizzle with just a glimmer of the sun. And you'll have to use the tree guide to know what these are...

The picture of the red leaves looks like one of the trees here by my house. It's raining here, now, too. :-)

Hi Leah, some trees go a wonderful colour in the autumn/fall. πŸ™‚

We have a lot of trees out in my backyard and 3 in the front by the driveway. I have a pinoak tree in the front, but I try to stay away from it since I might be allergic to it.

I don't blame you as pollen can be a problem for many people, I guess it's in the Spring you have to be most careful.

And when you think about the size of trees they must release a lot of pollen and from varying heights.

You know it! I have had pollen allergies for a very long time.

That's bad luck as you've enough going on with out that, I'm grateful that I don't have hay fever but know pollen can affect me a little.
