I finally finished this picture of a friends dog. Maud.
I started this a couple of months before Christmas and only just got it done now.
Christmas is a busy time of year and I've also got to be in the mood to do drawing as well.
In the meantime though I had just posted some of my art.
It was a cat I drew/posted called Casper.
I actually drew it quite a while ago but because of things getting in the way, I only got around to posting it recently.
One of the things holding things up was the payment. She wanted me to do it digitally and I'm not too happy with that. I would prefer cash or cheque. Teazymaid (Sue) would know all about that :).
But thank you Sue for easing my mind on digital payments cos I made a transaction with her before I did with this other lady and Casper owner, Jo :).
I sent the parcel Friday and hope she has got it, haven't had no text from her yet though.

I can understand the convenience in digital payments and I know it can be secure too but what people don’t really realise is why they are pushing people into digital payments/cash only.
I don’t think they are just doing this cos THEY think it is more convenient and others would agree.
They aren’t even giving people that choice, they are pushing that on us.
I follow a Keep Cash page on facebook that explain all about the importance of keeping cash and going against digital currency.
It’s about control at the end of the day.
I oppose the Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC).
I guess many of us turned to contactless payment at the onset of Covid and to the fear of cross contamination from money passing through the hands of countless others. Friends & family of mine died from the virus so, for me, the contactless option was a no-brainer.
I still use cash wallets containing notes for young relative's gifts so they can buy stuff of their choice.
But, as my mobility is poor, I buy goods regularly online.
Without the digital option, I'd need to send a cheque or postal order by post, or use bank transfer (my local bank closed last year so it would be an extra journey each time to a town which still has a branch).
Looks like a case of 'You can please some of the people some of the time' etc. . . . . . . . . . .🤔 Cat. Xx
Yes, a lot of contactless payments were occurring during covid… and now, covid isn’t much to worry about now but yet the contactless payments are still ongoing for some.
As for me, I was totally and completely against covid right from the start, my mum too.
I was paying in cash when I could and never adhered to the rules.
The government were not giving people the actual facts of the virus at all and since 2020 many lies have come out from the government.
People died because of government lies.
Covid was the biggest psychological operation on humanity.
I can understand people praising card payments when they have no bank near them because it closed down and to get cash/cheques would take a longer journey and more spending to get there.
But people should be asking why the banks are closing.
People should be in uproar about it.
We shouldn’t just let the government decide for us.
With Central Bank Digital Currencies, no more tipping the bar staff or cafés or taxi drivers.
No more donating to charities.
No more handing out cash as a gift at Christmas or birthdays.
You have incredible talent! I very much like your drawing, and have seen that you have posted many others as well that look fantastic. I like the drawings of animals as it seems to bring out the personality in them as well.
Lovely drawing, your friend will be so pleased for 2 reasons, 1 Maud looks lovely and attentive and 2 the drawing has been done by a friend. Carry on doing your lovely drawings and posting them on here to cheer the rest of us up.
