Hi everyone, I haven’t posted anything for a while, just been reading and dropping the odd comment, but just to let everyone know today is my eight year survivors anniversary, the day my aneurysm ruptured and I suffered a brain haemorrhage. It’s not all been easy going, and I’ve had to accept things as they are, but hey I’m still here and still fighting, so anyone starting this journey I have one recommendation, never give up hope, keep fighting people lots of love Alice xx
Survivors anniversary: Hi everyone, I haven’t posted... - Headway
Survivors anniversary
Hi Alice, anniversary dates can be difficult days and dealt with differently by each of us.
So pleased you live with a ‘glass half full attitude’ and deal with what ever comes along in your post haemorrhage life. Fighting spirit and never giving up hope are probably the best attributes to have in what can be very uphill challenges.
‘Happy anniversary’ and keep that glass topped up!
Visited my son this afternoon & he looked so well today. We attended a music therapy session Oasis music played on the harp - which he enjoyed, a good day that lifts the spirits.
Love Nanapal. x
Hi Nan, thank you, yes I’ve always been optimistic in life, and have always tried to see the best in everyone. I can understand you not finding annivesaries easy, because that’s the day that your son was changed, but you know Nan we should still celebrate that he is a survivor too, and although he’s changed you do still have him, I bet there was many times you didn’t think that was going to be possible. I was thrilled to hear he enjoyed the music therapy and that lifts your spirits too. Take care my friend love Alice xx
