I came on here the other day to post a picture I had recently finished but before I do that I wanted to check my notifications. THAT WAS THE PLAN.
After answering to the notifications I forgot all anout posting the picture and left haha. Sorry about that.
Anyhow, I posted a picture of a highland cow a while ago. The original photo was taken by the lady who owns the dog , Fudge, in this post.
When she saw the highland cow she was pretty much amazed and commissioned me to draw her dog.
So, here it is.
I sold it today.
She wasn’t present today because her son was in hospital.
Her son also has a brain injury and a shunt just like me.
His shunt had blocked up.
I’ve been there many a time, it’s not nice.
It sounds like the ventricles in his brain had swollen and blocked up the shunt.
Now, I last had to go to the hospital for shunt surgery back in 2010 and a doctor told me that a shunt usually lasts for about 10 years before it blocks up again.
I am a believer of a good diet leading to good health.
“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” is a quote I stick to.
i used to have a terrible junk food diet which I believe was reason as to why I had 2 brain tumours.
All the hereditary thing, I think is a load of hocus pocus.
Around 2000 (or so), I was coming away from a lot of the sugary food and drinks and I was keeping on top of keeping the body hydrated too.
14 years later and I’m still here. No hospital visits at all and I hope to never set foot in a hoapital ever again.
I’m hoping and praying that my current diet is keeping me in good nick :).
I follow a carnivore-based diet right now which means a lot of meat and eggs.
Some fruits and veg. No other plants like leafy greens.
I know nutritionists would say it’s healthy food but it is not. I’ve been down the plant-based road and regret every second of it.
I think a carnivore or a paleo diet is the best way to go for health.
Enjoy the pic and take care everyone :),

From 2016-2022 I was more plant-based and ate more fruit and veg over meat cos I thought this was supposed to be the healthier option and it would better my health.
Found out the hard way that it's not.
My walking was always off cos I have balance issues anyhow but during being plant-based the muscles in my left leg got worse.
By 2022 my walking was slow, awkward, sore and uncomfortable.
Obviously I was drawn in to the vegan propaganda.
I went carnivore and was probably more keto at first and concentrated on high fats and low carbs.
My walking had improved a lot in just a few days!
But I didn't have great knowledge on carnivore at the time and found myself eating way too much dairy and was putting on weight.
I didn't like that and decided to go back to eating SOME plants cos I did lose weight that way.
I overdid it with the plants and had too many green smoothies.
In January this year, I experienced massive stiffness in my left leg followed by acute pain and I could hardly walk!
I went carnivore again and was concentrating on not eating too much dairy as well.
Right now, I am walking a lot more with ease.
I still can be a bit slow on my legs but not as slow.
I don't have a lot of dairy at all right now but am concentrating on meats and fats.
If I had known before what I do now, all I needed to do was cut out dairy when I was putting on weight the first time around.
Anyway, I'm not going back to plants again.
I still eat fruit and veg but nowhere near as much as I used to.
very interesting to hear abut your diet effect on your it’s and muscle strength .. I’m not into any of the vegan and vegetarian thoughts as I do like animals but we as a species were made to eat meat / fish .. each to their own on in how they feel about all of this but interesting to hear how it effected you ..Sue
