I was married to a wonderful man. prior to our 20 yrs together, he was hit over the head with a full beer bottle. He lacked feeling emotions, never realizing it was part of the impact. One day he woke up and didn’t love anyone anymore.. divorced me, isolated himself from his kids, friends, family. The impact happened when he was a teen, he is in his 50’s now. I wanted to tell my story to further the awareness and hopefully get more long term studies for concussions and head trauma.

Thank you.

The lifechanging effects of brain injury are only known to those of us who live with it.

Excellent films such as 'Recovery' (David Tennant) and books such as 'Dancing With Annie' by Chris O'malley, have tried to bring awareness to the masses, but the subject needs a 'block buster' approach by media outlets.

Such a shame the real potential ambassadors are too exhausted or impaired to get the word out. . .

So sorry for your loss m'dear. x
