hey people, like most of us(relatives, parents)none of us have had any experience of navigating the most wonderful effective system known as social care."nothing to see here"...it may have taken me almost 4 years to catch on,much stress, many issues a lot of which very serious. The latest though really is the worst.ive tried 3 times to write this post but im finding it hard very hard to put in words what i cannot either understand or accept.i feel so angry/betrayed probably best i say nothing for time being.only thing i can think of is be alert and trust no one...

I’m so sorry that you are having to deal with things that should never be happening .. please write anything you want to write , no matter how good or bad as it may help you deal with it better as it not just stuck in your head .. the ability to talk and share is what being on here is all about .. Hi DBH

The system here in Canada is so in silos no one is responsible for anything and you can't get anywhere when things get locked up.

It sucks to have to deal with it.

We're here when you want to vent.

Big hug

I do feel for you, it's horrendous when you try and no one listens. It doesn't seem possible in this day and age for things to be missed, unseen, unheard, but they do. Whatever it is that you are experiencing always remember you have friends on here and can say anything you want, maybe in a private conversation if you don't feel safe putting it all down on here. Take care x

Hi D,

Sharing your problems, fears or anything else here is a great form of release. No-one judges or complains, they just ‘listen’ and offer advice or words to help you feel better.

I know until I was told about this forum I was in a very bad place. Felt overlooked by the system and was very low. Letting go of all my issues and worries here helped a great deal. Everyone was helpful and kind.

Don’t think about what you’re writing, just pretend it’s a piece of paper and pore your heart out.

M x
