perhaps a strange question… but has anyone’s immunity got worse as the years go by? I seem to have a lot more viral infections that wipe me out, at least one a week, in bed for a few days, and end up cancelling so many things. I am on a migraine medication that might be effecting my immunity but it’s new so very little info.
Grrr!
Thanks for your thoughts.

Mine has since COVID. I was never diagnosed with Long COVID at the time (well, we weren't even testing when I first got it) and I didn't have the classic debilitating fatigue, but I started migraines ever since and other things like recurrent infections and picking up any cold going (to the extent that I kept worrying I was passing on COVID for that matter). I assumed it was just because I was getting older and wasn't exercising or sleeping enough etc. Only when I went to the Dr with PCS did she say they were common symptoms of Long COVID.
I haven't been, and my GP told me the Long COVID clinic wouldn't see me while I'm struggling with PCS, but I happened to see a GP who has Long COVID herself and was very clued up on it. She thinks I basically have too much inflammation and now wants to try me on a low histamine diet. A few other things going on (tbh I'm not sure what's related to what) so please take what I say with a pinch of salt, but I just mention it as I've had so many recurrent infections, even before my brain injury, and it all seems to date from 2020.
Please speak to your GP about this - that wasn't a suggestion you should do that! I'd have a conversation about whether you might have a low immune system and talk to them about the best approach if so. I'm definitely not placed to advice. Totally understand the frustration of always having to cancel plans though. Good luck. I hope you get some answers
