Frequent flying

As an international pecialist engineer I was on at least two (there and back) flights a week for nearly 30 yrs. I wonder if all of these pressure changes onboard might have a bearing on how I ended up with 4 anurisms at least one of which burst but ended up as a triple SAH. I still have an anurism next to my motor cortex (right for left hand) and am concerened as to wether it would be wise to fly anymore.

Any ideas ?

Hi Liumeybob, my aneurysm ruptured in 2017 and I had stents and coils refitted, but my aneurysm has always been very unpredictable, but my surgeon did say I was ok to fly, but a short flight to Majorca the following year, proved to be a big mistake because I ended up in hospital for seven days and my aneurysm was so big the Spanish said it was giant, and it was pressing on my brain stem, so wished I hadn’t bothered. My holidays now I go to beautiful wales and keep my feet on the ground, the Spanish hospital was frightening enough, they had some very strange investigations and procedures, I discharged myself in the end, it was frightening, if I was you I would ask your consultant for advise, lots of luck love Alice xx

If you think it affects you stay in the UK or you could get ferries and trains to the EU.

Try island hopping on a cycle tour trip around the inner and outer Hebrides.
