brain pain after exercise

Feeling really upset as I’ve been experiencing nasty brain sensations (again) after doing some fairly intense exercise. Specifically on the left side, above my ear, a horrible sensation of numbness/deadness/scorched/dull pain.

This always happens after i try and exert myself a bit and i am really worried about what’s wrong. Has anyone else experienced this? thank you

Yes I call them healing headaches. Sometimes some of my best ability to think and play games of chess, are during, and after a headache.

Good morning Dann

Yeah things go wrong all the time, even 25 years on. Try not to focus on it, pick yourself up and do your best to carry on.

Misery, pain and worry only cause more of the same - try like hell to see where the brighter side of life is and aim for it.

Best wishes

Michael

Hi Dann. I'm not a medic. But it might be best to tone it down a bit if the exercise is really intense. Noone wants to be told they can't do stuff. But my understanding is that really intense exercise isn't necessarily the best thing for you if you've had BI. Try toning it down for a few days and see if you feel any differently. Just thinking it could be your body telling you that you're overdoing it

I did early on after my hypoxic injury. Still *now* after an intense run, I feel so much better.

don't push yourself too much

Anaerobic exercise is much better for you and compliments you recovery Push too hard and it deters your recovery

Its a marathon not a hundred yard sprint
