hi can anyone recommend a good mood/daily tracker journal please. It would be impossible for me to make my own as I don’t have any help. But I need to try & motivate myself & start something simple.
Mood Journal: hi can anyone recommend a good mood... - Headway
Mood Journal
Hi, the most basic form can be using the diary on your phone or any other electronic device.
As I use my phone diary for appointments I used my laptop initially.
I quickly changed to an old fashion way of a normal diary .
Depending how much information you want to record will depend on the type you use. I used a day to page, then again I wrote all sorts down.
I always found them useful to look back on to see how far you have come.
Unfortunately I had the idea of writing a book and destroyed most of my old diaries as I went along. Then my laptop crashed and yes you guessed it , I hadn't backed up my writing.
Try and keep it simple. It's for your benefit no one else's. You don't have to fill the page and you can miss days out.
It's amazing how quickly you get into the habit of recording your day. Oh and I used to use symbols as well. Basic Happy face when happy , sad when sad.
You could use a plain book . The beauty of a diary is the date is there already.
Good luck,
Pax
Thank you for your reply & your great ideas. I like the thought of using a book only cause I have a nice one ready to be used but I don’t want to ruin it and I see some lovely layouts on line and wish I could do that. I just want something to look back on and hopefully see recovery. It’s just so frustrating to know how downhill you can go after an accident. Thank you again. Don’t forget to back it up 😀
Hi, I used to feel the same and got so fed up so I started wordsearches, 365 days book. Which is one a day. Then I got some colouring books that have certain words in them. So for example I used a word on how I was feeling that day, it could be a swear word, a word how I was feeling, or how I would describe someone. (You can get them on amazon). They helped me lots and I haven't used them for ages if I'm honest. Honestly though they helped me chill out and feel better that I could do something fantastically. I could send a photo if you needed to see what kind of books they are. Have fun. 😁
Hi thank you for your message. My hobby is art & crafts but it’s finding the push to do anything especially when you know these hobby’s are part of my recovery. But what I really want is to be able to go to work & be a normal part of society. & I’d like to see your pictures please 🙏 🌻💕
There are others but I can't add them all on here, will follow you and see if incan send them.
Wow that’s beautiful. I can see your a pro at this especially with all the blended colors. I’m saving up for some more art pens but are £120 for 20 🙄 x
I used to use a week at a view desk diary to keep notes. I quite like having one that's blank where I add the dates.
I wonder if there's an app? (Migraine Buddy is free and is great for logging headache severity and length for example.).
(I've just googled best mood tracker apps by the way, and there's loads for Apple and Android. )
I've been using this free resource for some time now. I think it will provide you what you're looking for. You can quickly log your information, daily. I think it may give you what you're looking for: powerofpatients.com/patient...
