is it a review or the first application? I manage my son’s benefits and I completed his review paperwork in May, for a number of reasons I had to phone them and was told it wouldn’t be looked at for 6 months. Initial assessments are a bit quicker but 12 weeks is not unusual

About three months. You can get an accurate figure by Googling it. The award doesn't take long after the decision.

Hi. If you were working before, have you considered applying for employment support allowance? Would you be able to apply for universal credit at all while waiting on PIP decision?

Not what you're looking for?
