thank you all for your answers, it’s good to know I’m “ normal”.

You forget that you’ve constructed your new normal don’t you, whilst trying to fit in with the real world.

It us easy to forget that you have changed and was once a different person. That is until someone reminds you you seem different.

If it someone I'm not overly fond of I usually remind them "yet they've remained the same person they have always been" adding " some people never change".

Don't worry who you were, concentrate who you are now.

Hi Janet ....just found your previous post after being wiped out for a while (payback for overdoing the gardening over previous weeks 🥴) and just want to concur with your comments on the daily 'push' required to fit in with the real world.

I've also an injured shoulder & knee so everything takes so much longer (waited over 12 months for referral to bear fruit but stopped holding my breath 6 months ago 🙄).

Keep pushing m'love ; it's our only means of staying sane !
