Yep, that's me! For the last 10 years or so - even before BI. Frustrating but can't seem to find anything to help. I do have to jump in the shower to wake me up and keep repeating to myself that I have "slept" for 9/10/11 hours
Yep, so easy and feels good getting that sleep. But the hours are moving forward on Sunday so that maybe help as winter has a lot to do with excessive sleep.
Retrain brain with routine, get up and wash and Try to fo things like walk or exercise or puzzles using brain then lunch then do other things etc.
It is hard and sounds easy and on the days that we have fatigue, so easy to say rest.
Good morning again Charlie, we really must stop meeting like this 😉
Post accident for close on 20 years when I put my head on the pillow there was nothing, absolutely nothing until I woke around 10 hours later.
After my comfortable little life got badly shaken up 5 years ago my sleep has become very disturbed from time to time. I know my head is very busy though I have no idea what’s going on in there, regularly I wake in fear, occasionally terror. I try to refuse to wake and take no notice but it ain't easy, especially as the result is usually being absolutely knackered for the day.
Just another thing I am trying to get answers to from any direction I can think of.
Yes I sleep lots too so sounds like it's not unusual. Yet still feel tired and yawn big style. Hoping it's just part of a temporary dip and am looking forward to more sunlight too. Just taking a day at a time 🙂
