essential tremors

I am sure I have told you I suffer from ET . Since all the stress of the violence with my now ex husband my tremors are so much worse. I am unable to write now, well I have a go but it’s incredibly difficult and frustrating. Also it’s not readable even I can’t make out what I write. Sad but true.

To give you a catch up I am now officially divorced, this happened in Tenerife and the final day is on the 3rd of February. Apparently you can appeal if you do not agree. I certainly will NOT be appealing. The solicitor in Tenerife have harassed me to appeal at a cost of another 7,000 pounds. So my son stepped in and told them that I am definitely not going to appeal. As I need the money to fight for my home in Prees. I wonder why they did not listen to me, but have listened to my son. Sorry to hear the tremors are still giving you an extra problem Liz ; they're such an obstacle to doing fiddly jobs, and writing is especially challenging. I used to be complimented on my handwriting, but nowadays the pen has a mind of its own.

But it's really good news about your long awaited divorce settlement. I remember what an anxious process it is, especially when the spouse throws one curve ball after another. But what a relief it is to feel that sense of freedom and peace -- you're within touching distance of your new life with little Shelly.

I hope you'll find yourself within your own safe space before too long m'love !

Hi Cat, thanks for your message, my tremors is so bad that even trying to put butter on bread is near impossible so I use my fingers. The financial side is yet to start but my English solicitor Robert has told me it could take 6/12 months so hopefully by the end of this year it hopefully will be finally finished. I'm so sorry you have such struggles Liz (thank God you have Shelly to help keep your spirits up). You deserve some certainty of a secure and peaceful future ; I really hope that comes sooner rather than later. Once the pressures are off and your life is your own I'd like to think you'll see positive changes in your general health ; maybe even in your tremors...

Bless you dear! This is my story too. I know it’s hellish as not only am l lucky to be alive ( sometimes I question? As am drinking my tea and coffee out of straws and the involuntary movemeMy symptoms worsened over time. I have Dystonia and functional Neurological Disorder as a result from my assault. And dropped charges as there was no police protection until you go to court and it was too dangerous, so I walked away from everything. Have you got any support network around at all? Are you getting police protection over in Tenerife? I’m mostly home bound and I feel like I have been doing time for someone else’s crime! I hope you get justice. I recommend to you Lisa Romano, , Dr Gabor Mate, Irene Lyons, breath work, meditation 🧘‍♀️ and grounding practices as well as heart coherence very useful. You can find some videos on YouTube, l hope this helps you. 🙏💜

Hi Jersegirl, It’s dreadful that you had to walk away. We had a house in the UK so when I left him in Tenerife I escaped him before he realised I had gone. He has now applied for residency of Tenerife and has so far had 3 women and the third is Hungarian best of luck to her. I have been diagnosed with foreign accent syndrome also Dystonia my voice is so strange. But my councillor has said I must try to embrace it because it won’t go back to normal. Also my ET is so bad my neologist had trued me on a few drugs but the side effects are horrible. The police in Tenerife are wonderful also the police in the UK but the waiting to see if the CPS will prosecute is torture. 2 years of waiting it’s unbelievable. If I was in Tenerife the police would arrest him one day and court the following day.
