good afternoon all.went on a visit y/day,first time ive seen manager and assistant since i went "john wayne"before xmas on phone.sometimes a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do...both made a point of coming to say hello, smiling at the problem parent(nutter).sat in cafe area(well i say that, table chairs and a vending machine)coffee supplied before i even took coat off.i will assume that staff have been briefed.sons room immaculate when i went in there,we spent some time,i had brought a lot of new clothes, sorting drawers etc.he very happy that things are where he wants them.his o.c.d is bad wouldnt let me take away anything other than some odd socks and a baseball cap which wasnt even his!he went for his lunch(ploughmans?)his humour remains thank god,im saying when did you ever eat salad,he writes down that alternative wasnt option, and now that im visiting before lunchtime now the odd curry or chilli wouldnt go amiss."noted sean!"when i was on way home, was going over a few other things he said.socks was really bad when i got home, huffed and ignored me,wouldnt go out for wee and went to bed at 9pm.hadnt eaten anything.got up this morning, food bowl empty.mystery...theres an email from lawyers saying they are sending a "future needs assessor"who will be requiring access all areas to son and unit over a period of time and that unit have been informed this will be happening...strange also he had a new wheelchair(must have been ordered a while ago)makes no difference to me we still crash into doors/walls.so i guess im not so suspicious after all...

Glad to hear your visit with Sean was made so special ! They'll be concerned about the assessor's impending visits and very much 'On their toes' for the duration ! (& even more so after your John Wayne impression last time). I bet it's always a relief for Sean having you to sort everything into its rightful place ; suffering with OCD is bad enough for those who have control of their environment.

Have you heard any more about the home visit assessment D ?

And poor Sox. Sulky & not eating --- I'm wondering if it's connected to his lost teeth - a gum infection maybe ?? I really hope he'll be ok m'love. 🤔😯

You've a lot going on Missus ; I hope you're remembering to look after yourself !

Love & hugs Xx

seriously, you would think by now they would get that im no pushover?sean is writing down get me out of this "dump"and i know its not a dump but on the other hand im not seeing any improvements either.looks like the legal side of things is stepping up also.i have decided to wait until protection order in place before taking on social services.they need to understand that im not leaving this house and that sean needs to be able to visit home.these places are very confusing and mess with your head.i can see/hear so many others in worse situations and totally get why sean doesnt feel he should be there.i know also he cant be here(the fights we had over sorting drawers/clothes!)socks is fine,no issues with teeth or lack of just wont be left alone..

Lets hope there'll be better days ahead this year for you and Sean.

We're white - over with snow here today ; I'm guessing it'll be gone later today but beautiful while it lasts.

Good to know Sox is ok ! Take care and keep warm m'love..... Xxx
