PIP missed assessment complaints.

Hi folks just been through my PIP reassessment process. Capita missed the appointment so I complained to their complaints department. The assessment was rescheduled and was done. Today they offered me £100 compensation.

Just thought I'd let you know because if you get shoddy service make a complaint. Seems it pays.

Also they cannot mark you down as non-attending which is what they have done others.

Hi, if capita cancel the appointment the best thing is to phone the DWP PIP section and get it recorded. In fact anything unusual should be recorded with the DWP. This acts as a record later on if there is a problem.

Well done, good for you. They shouldn't be allowed to get away with dreadful service

To get the payment you have to phone capita, have just done this and the response sounded like this was something that is quite common with a whole process set up to handle the payments.

The lesson is that if capita mess you about or threaten you then just complain, don't be afraid.
