A way to improve your memory without a great deal of effort....

Something else that I haven't mentioned for a while that's really useful. Writing a profile will help others improve their memory's. Keep reading & you'll find out why.........

When your chatting to someone, you'll look at their profile & what you read you may well remember.

In time U will remember them & be able t put a screenname to what actually happened to them (If that makes sense).

So if everyone write's something about themselves it would be really helpful for everyone.

Not only that, U can add experiences that have happened to U or like with mine, information that might be helpful to others.

Unlike mine yours could just be a few words, but as I said, if U come across something that might be useful to others, U can add that too ;o)

Cat, you have a lot of influence, you're like the wise owl everyone looks upto so suggestion, mention it regularly.

Same with the 20minute nap. People will listen to you. Admitted I do get a fair bit of good feedback but everyone would listen to you cos U now how beneficial both are Xxx

That's soooo true! I've been on this forum on and off for about 6 years and I still look for Cat's responses to people's questions first!

Dear StaceM8,

What a great idea.... I have a Similar-ish 'Thing' for my Medical Information. It Gives my Condition (Dia & Prog Nosys), my Consultants, Emergency Contacts and Both my NHS & Hospital Numbers. Finally it gives a Full list of mt Current Drugs.

The 'Profile,' that you have suggested, could conceivably 'Work' in a similar way. Family Contact Numbers, the Best Way 'Thing' to do In An Emegency- along with, as you suggest, 'Memerable Moments' & People, from your Life.

Adding a few 'Personal Items', maybe some Stories/ Prose- that you or a Loved One- have written.... a list of you Favourite, and Hated, foods- along with any Allergies.

Yes, the more I 'think' about, your Suggestion, the more Possibilities I Come Up with.

Thank You StaceM8, you are a Star.

Cheers Andrew. It's been something I've been advocating since I joined in 2014.

The other thing I post on a regular basis that is truly amazing & like most people who have had a brain injury, they have a problem sleeping / staying awake, the elusive brain fog & I just wish everyone would give it a go.

It's not something U get right immediately, but that's the incredible power nap. Something that became well known amongst yuppies in the 90's when it became wide spread. 20 minutes with your eyes closed, totally relaxed does wonders, it really does.

If U don't do it already take a look at my posts cos it is quite important t do it right ;o)

Tc Andrew & good luck
