Hi Juliet. I don't have personal links, but by Googling 'Publishing a book' you'll find a variety of options, whether through an agent or by self publication.

Good luck m'dear... Cat.

Thank you cat3. Alot of the online google finds are for vanity publishing where you pay to get published. I'm after a traditional publisher who pays me. Fingers crossed for the yeovil literary prize where the prize is literary agent introduction. I've now started writing e sequel and am loving writing again. Not sure if I can write as well as I used to though

You're doing great with one completed and ready to go !

I know someone with no previous experience of publishing who published with 'Minerva Press' which now operates under the name 'A. K. Newman & Co'. (seen them on Amazon).

Maybe worth looking this up ? 🤔 x

I was really impressed when I read that you'd written a novel, but then I read that it was pre BI, still impressive but not quite as much Xxx

Yes. I will try that.. thanks. Still really enjoying the process of writing and editing. My husband encourages me as it's a little bit of me returning I think hobbies we used to enjoy help us get our old selves back

Hi Juliet... I am so envious that you able to continue your writing post BI. I tried and tried but just couldn't do it. Each day I went back to my WIP and it was like reading it for the first time...and of course I did not remember the plot ,characters etc which was a bit of an issue as you might imagine. I still give it a go every now and again because even though I came to terms with the life changes TBI brought me long ago, there is still a small part of me that refuses to accept that I will never write again.

Any contacts I once had are totally out of date now, but who you submit to will depend on genre and who has an open subs list. Good Luck with the Yeovil Prize... let us know how it goes.

Thank you for your advice. I will keep writing. You should too. What genre do you write in?

Yes I will let you kno. I will also continue to write my sequel as I get such enjoyment out of it. I've accepted that I won't be going back to work now on the basis that I get to try and make it as an author. The next step with that is to await the results of the yeovil literary prize in may where the prize is literary agent introduction. Fingers crossed 🤗
