Interesting Documentary Series

Hi all,

This is my first post. My husband had a traumatic brain injury in June and has just come out of the rehabilitation centre and is awaiting cranioplasty.

I found a really interesting and positive 5 part documentary series on YouTube which follows the recovery of four people in a New Zealand ABI rehabilitation centre. I'm sharing here because I thought others might like to watch it too. I have to say that my husband only watched the first two episodes and didn't watch the rest (though he may do later on) because they reminded him of what had happened to him. However, I found them really helpful and hopeful. It was great to see the progress made by the patients during their stay.

I can't seem to add a direct link but here are the videos to search for:

Broken Part 1: Living with a Brain Injury

Broken Part 2: Living with a Brain Injury

Broken Part 3: Living with a Brain Injury

Broken Part 4: Living with a Brain Injury

Broken Part 5: Living with a Brain Injury

Thank you. Does your son have a date for his surgery yet? Non-urgent operations in our area are on hold at the moment so we have no idea when it might be, although my husband has an out-patient appointment early next year so we may find out more then. Hope things are going well for you and your son.
