Hiya everyone.

So how’s everybody coping with the heat? I can’t cope with it myself, the heat gives me headaches with extra dizziness.

I used to enjoy the sun but now it wipes me 🙄

I hear you wazza, I already live in constant pain in my head but the heat definitely makes the pain worse.

I'm like you, I used to love the sun, now I have to sit inside with the fan & the curtains shut! it's so exhausting😴😴😴

It doesn’t help having two holes in my head where drains were fitted during surgery 😞

Sorry to hear about how much more worse you are feeling. It really is hard going isn’t it, I’m doing all the things they recommend like curtains drawn and have windows open when the sun isn’t coming from that direction. Lots of water drinking too! Even the cat is acting strangely with not much eating going on. He normally wolfs it all down.! Trying to get outside in early morning and evening to enjoy the cooler air. Wishing you well with trying to adapt however you can.

I'm glad you posted this Wazza. I feel a wuss at times being so badly affected by the heat, especially when I hear 'Glorious' and 'Lovely' from passers by whilst I'm literally staggering home from shopping in soaking wet clothes !

30°C (86F) is Just too much for me so I'm cleaning & cooking after sundown and spending too many days sitting between 2 large fans with curtains closed ! Such a shame some of us with faulty thermostats (I've heart & BP issues too) can't enjoy these sunny days.

........and for keen gardeners it's frustrating being indoors for so long 😓...

Might have to move to Iceland if this trend keeps up ! 😬 Take care Wazza. x

Hiya Cat..

I’m pretty sure I say the same thing every time it’s this hot 😬

Only my close family understand how the heat affects me, others just say it’s lovely etc.. I feel absolutely wiped.

Hi again Wazza..

I'm sitting between two 18inch fans at 10pm and the temperature is still reading 30.5degrees ; the fans are only recirculating hot air ! So I'm sourcing a portable air conditioning unit online for my bedroom so at least I'll have one comfortable room to escape to, and I can sleep at night.

My son bought one a few weeks ago and tells me it's super efficient. Can't wait for some respite ! May be the new norm for summer months.... xx

I’m sat in front of a fan on highest setting with back door open (for now) 🙄

Been wondering how I came to call you missus, so backtracked to where my daughter phoned as I was messaging you. We'd been complaining about the heat and my last words to her were 'Stay cool missus' !

Thank god I'm not quite as loopy as I thought ! 🥴 x
