Hi has anybody tried CBD for any symptoms of TBI ? I read it is Neuro protective so I began taking it again , it does take my off balance feeling away for a few hours.

Hi GordoI use THC and CBC full plant medicine for my ABI and FND symptoms, which makes a massive impact on my quality of life and seizure control.

Hi yes I make my own since the flower here is easy to get and has to be tested. I’m getting about 1 mg to 25mg ratio per mil , it keeps my mood good and the unbalanced feeling in check for some time. Glad to hear it’s helping you also! Have you heard of Project CBD , they have some good info on their web site about brain injury’s that’s how I found out about CBD being Neuro protective .

Medical grade CBD does seem to have beneficial effects in a lot of neurological disorders. I would avoid THC, but this is from seeing the adverse effects of this component.

Hi Boots it’s been good for me so far. I find the ratio of 1mg thc to 25mgs cbd works for my symptoms plus using the full plant spectrum helps too. I use a olive oil extraction.

That is interesting Gordo, but as I see below that you make your own, how do you guarantee that dose, ratio, and purify?

Hi Boots , my sister who is aDr. asked me the same thing . The CBD flower I get here has to be tested for potency and purity ,heavy metals, pesticides etc. far as dosage , on the testing report it tells you how many mgs per gram of cbda is in the flower so you can figure out about how much cbd you get per mil. Not exact but close enough for home remedies.

And the THC? What country are you in roughly speaking?

I’m in California, U.S.A hemp and cannabis are legal here😊

Hi you can add some flavor by adding some plant terpenes and get the effects you want also , that’s why I make it myself, then you know what’s in it also.

Hi Gordo. I bought CBD oil a few years ago from the reputable CBD BROTHERS and was happy using it from a dropper bottle under the tongue for a couple of weeks.

I had no ill effects and only stopped using it as it stained my teeth to badly that no amount of brushing removed it (had to have professional cleaning by dentist). If it could be produced in a colourless form I'd definitely give it another try.

I know there are CBD capsules available but I learned that its properties are negated by gastric acid when swallowed. I'd read so much positive stuff about the oil and was excited to try it as a alternative to antidepressants. Shame really.... x

Hi Cat, you can make it yourself and it won't stain your teeth, that's why I make my own with olive oil no dyes or additives . It's a very simple process if you have access to the hemp flowers, I can send you the process , you'll laugh when you see how easy it is . It keeps my anxiety and depression in check!I just had my appt. with neruo phycologist and he recommended I keep taking CBD instead of med's which I wouldn't take anyway

No Gordon I've no access to Hemp flower and couldn't source it legally in any case. I know there are moves to legalize it, but possession or sale of any live Cannabis product still carries strict penalties in the UK.

.....Just another consequence of this government's capitalization on the big pharma industry. 🤫 x

Hopefully that will change soon!
