Had 10 minutes face time last night, son alert, sound on my tablet not great but managed.girls said they had him in wheelchair, took him down to day room there is a balcony, plenty to look at as college opposite. He was waving at everyone who spoke to him on his"rounds".this is more like it,exactly what he needs, even if for just a short time each day.I also spoke with centre manager, outlined my thoughts/concerns both for present time and moving forward.I was calm, precise and even managed to put some humour into conversation.I feel this is important as it pushes home the fact that we are ordinary people that are suffering, frightened and confused.visit day 2 morrow(37th birthday bless him)...

Really glad your son has had a bit of a run round, in a manner of speaking. And that you managed to get to talk to the engine driver. Nice to see good things are happening. Happy birthday to your son. X

Big positives, glad to hear. The road forward may prove rocky at times but do make a note and remind yourself that progress however fast or slow is all progress.

Best.

Very positive 24hrs and much needed seeing your son, hearing about his day and discussing areas important to you and your son.

Its unimaginable to think of the emotional rollercoaster and sadly I cant say it gets easier on this journey but some weird way makes you stronger even when everything is black, the stars come in sight slowly and unexpectedly x
