The down side of a BI, no smell, no taste and memory problems, but it did make me laugh.

Today started so well. Lovely sunny day, not cold, got a few jobs off my to do list. Stopped for a coffee and a piece of toast, heard the tumble dryer beeping and went off to sort the drying, then I put the washing machine on and walked back in to a kitchen full of smoke and black toast. Oh well, it could be worse, I could have walked out the door instead of going back to the kitchen, I would have realised once the smoke alarm went off. Today my problems didn't make me annoyed they made me laugh.

Ha ha... I've lost count of the times I'm confronted with a black, shrunken, fruit loaf in the oven. Yes, I have a reliable, portable timer which I keep pocketed, but It's become the norm for me to find a distraction between somewhere (usually the garden) and the oven. Thankfully it usually dawns there's something I've forgotten ....but too often too late... 😒

And a whole raft of other stuff, like only remembering to put the wheelie bins out after seeing them lined up in the street at 2am (I'm a night owl) so creeping out in pyjamas and trying to keep the bins from rattling ! 😏 Oh the joys... x
