Strange day yesterday. I felt compelled to slag off a prominent MP on Twitter who was deriding folk for 'carping about struggling to get Covid tests'.
An hour later, due to said the tweet, ITV Tonight programme contacted me and asked if myself (and Sharon) would be prepared to make one or two films for a programme they are preparing for October about the pandemic experience and the 'joy' of finding a test...
Well, I never. Funny old world.

Good for you Baron. I saw the headline on the BBC website. What an awful thing for the MP to have said; people “carping on”. People can’t go to school, or to work, without getting a text, yet it seems very difficult to be able to get a test. Or impossible. If people comment about the lack of testing it’s hardly carping on. Also the virus is a very serious and worrying thing. Good for you for having the courage to say something, and to get noticed too.
We shall see. I'm going to inundate the programme with films, I'm making one today with my own take on the Government's approach to the crisis. The phrase, 'Blood on your hands' will get an outing more than once
