This is a topic especially close to my heart. The issue of the inevitable but unmentionable emergencies-in-waiting has been rumbling at the back of my mind for weeks. I can gauge, from my own cancellations, the scale of need and neglect which has been building behind the headlines of the Covid pandemic.

And while our incompetent government (and highly suspect advisors) dithered and delayed measures which other countries implemented immediately, our NHS have born the greatest burden...….. and at a dreadful cost to patients and themselves.

There will already have been countless casualties from lack of care resulting from an overwhelmed NHS, and all through failure to implement lockdown from the outset ......…..not to mention the long delay in accessing existing stocks of PPi because of poor maintenance of the storage facility.

I feel for you, Andy Sharon and Holly, and I'm thinking of you all as you wait for this already long-awaited treatment. With love, E. x

Thanks, E! We'll get there, we have no choice really! It really is that simple, nowhere to go and nobody to see, so we are left with no options, just like everyone else...

I know you will. In the meantime it's just put up & shut up but, thank god, Holly's in the best of hands, unlike many others with her issues.

As you know, my son was diagnosed with ADHD aged 9 and coping with the fallout alone was the hardest thing I've ever done. But at 20 he took a shy girl under his wing and his focus ever since has been on her, his work (never had a day off in 20years) and his home & garden. He's just the best !

I don't know whether you've played your video through, but after a few minutes Sharon's vocals are intermittently difficult to hear owing to what sounds like interference on the mic from gusty winds. No problem getting the main message though 😐. xx

Yes, I remember chatting with you about this very subject, years ago. And here we are, still at square 1.

We have no doubt, that should we get the relevant help and support, Hollie will lead a happy and and fulfilling life, though without that help, to put it bluntly, we fear for her...

It was a bit windy, but we just winged it and ranted. Neither of us have watched it back, to be honest. We wanted it to be a bit, er, raw

As somebody living with a 14 year old who almost certainly has it, I'd say follow every lead, make certain you are taken seriously and see it through to the diagnosis...
