Think that's soppy ? I still keep my one-eyed, very tattered teddy bear on my bedroom shelf. My aunt Sal bought 'him' for me when I was three. My daughter labelled 'it' tatty and ridiculous....(true) 🤭.

But when I decided on a cremation for Rupert in the wheelbarrow (no way was he going in the trash) my son stopped me saying I was mad (not for burning a stuffed toy in a barrow but for bowing to his sister's pressure)……..Phew ! Rupert lives on. 🐻

Quite right too!!! I've still got my first ted somewhere in the house, can't part with him.

Not to mention the three Charley bears myself and Sharon bought AND the Derbyshire bear (he wears a flat cap) from our first trip to Matlock, etc, etc.
