I've not posted fir a while.im being treated with b12 injections for b12 deficiency . Only diagnosis really as neurologists disagreed. I had a nasty fall 5 weeks before I collapsed and got. Virtigo I'm still not functioning at all well. One neurologist though post concussion syndrome. Another said damage to the brain from the b12 deficiency.

I've had 2 brain MRis. I've been waiting to see a neuro Opthalmologist. Of course in the current climate this has not happened. I've been on the waiting list since 4/1/20. My symptoms are severe light sensitivity still. (Only to artificial light. Pattern glare . Csnt use a landline as swr of shrill noises in mr head. Headaches of varying degrees and types. Chronic fatigue. Tinnitus. Scale pain and fragility. Csnd read a page I'd text. Makes me feel very irritated and head starts to sizzle then pain at the back of my head. Back of head and neck goes into a spasm. Csn cooe with this small screen with head sizzling glasses feel like a lead weight. Cant watch tv.

This all started in October 2018. I'm feeling very stuck at the moment. After my b12 injection last week was very I'll. Nausea headache balance problems again. Do thses symptoms sound familiar to anyone?? I csnt seem to progress. I'm off all medication apart from painkillers when needed. I trialled amitriptyline and was also put on hrt. Also duazipzmBoth just made matters worse I've been offered so many drugs on a trial and error I havent taken them. Propranolol. Sertraline, clonidine, sodium valproate . The last one Duloxatine. Perhaps I'm bei g still not trying another. I really do not know which one as so many suggested . No doctor has convinced me as they confused with my symptoms. I've got my gp to at least accept I'm not clinically depressed. I come across as flat because of fatigue and head pain . Also noise sensitive. This has improved a bit. I've seen so far 3 neurologists. 2 opticians. 1 specialist optician. Any idea of how to proceed??

I have found Amitriptyline very helpful. I had sub dural a haemetoma four and a half years ago. I had a lot of pain in the first six months and was only given paracetamol which didn't help. Then someone suggested Amitriptyline which helped me to sleep and to recover. I did have a recurrence of headaches a few weeks ago and am taking 2 tablets at night which does make me a bit sleepy in the mornings. I will try and lower to 1 tablet again soon.
