Well Done - take it at a manageable pace and don't be tempted to push yourself too hard. You don't have to prove yourself worthy of keeping your job and hopefully you will see more support put in place during your phased return too. Xx

Congrats and being able to return to your old job. Nice that your employers recognise your skills and haven't tossed you under a bus for your injury.. Which woukd just add to the insult really..

As others said, take your time. Let your employer known when your having a worse day than normal.

Advise them of the things your doing to improve your life outside of work and try to get as much of this in your job as allowed as well as any accomadations they make for you - see if works at home also.

I was lucky, I had a fantastic employer who took me on due to skills acquired after injury, downside is had to be let go as unreliable in the end. Think was cos pushed self too hard. Don't be a fool. Stay in your limits, or get to learn them quickly.

Few employers recognise brain injuries and the effects it has on both injured and carer.

Go slowly, phased return there for reason. Don't feel pressured into doing more than your capable of.

Good luck.

Your not on own.

Thank you so much really wise and helpful advice

My occupational therapist came to the meeting with employer and is going to pass on some invisible disability information for my employers and recommendations of what I can and can’t do I think this is going to be really helpful as that’s one of my worries they aren’t going to be very clued up on any of this but I feel they are going to support me so much they have done from day 1 of the accident I truly have an amazing employer which I’m so grateful for

Thank you again

One thing you might find useful is to remember that the limits you have are not carved in stone.

Limits are more like shifting quicksand.

That is wonderful. I had the opposite - a very hostile employer. I really hope everything goes well for you. 😀🌸
