Three wishes to everyone - Health, Wealth and Happiness
Forget the wealth part where I'm concerned Sos ; it just ain't gonna happen.
I'll thankfully take the other two though.
All the best to you and yours too.

Yep, money can't buy you happiness but not having it is pretty miserable ....
Oh I know I've been there, where it was a toss up between Christmas for my kids or paying the bills. I suppose since my family moved on, and I reached pension age, I continued to manage what I do have carefully and don't need more.
I don't have a wide social life or holidays, so don't want for anything & can still afford to be generous !
All best wishes to you & yours for 2020 Sos……... Love Cat x
You wouldn't fancy some time in a warm climate this time of year and escape the rain and cold ?
Thanks for the fond wishes, it has been a torrid year for us in 2019. On Friday the 13th my wife was stopped in our car at a roundabout waiting for a clear space, then got hit from behind by a home delivery truck. It knocked her 94 feet down the road.
Its the third time she has been hurt in a car accident this year and four accidents in total, none of which were all our fault.
So hopefully 2020 will be a bit better
What ! is your wife OK now ? x
Sort of ok, thanks
Fortunately the car took most of the impact, It is an estate car and I could put an arm in either side of the boot lid where it had been pushed in.
A lot of aches and pains a week on from the impact. The worst thing is that it is the 5th concussion in 3 years and the cumulative effects of all the accident are starting to tell.
Over, the last few days she has started to have severe palpitations and being extremely cold. I took her to A&E and the genius doctor said it was probably down to stress or anxiety. Tried to explain that before the accident she didn't have the symptoms but since they accident, she has.
You start to explain about Head Injuries and you can see the doctor doesn't want to know even though she was admitted to the same A&E, 7 days previously on a spine board. You almost get the feeling that doctors will admit to anything other than a patient has a head injury even though the wife still had black eyes.
Its a quiet Christmas with the lights down low and minimal decorations and a long and slow rehab.
Oh poor Lady. Maybe get a referral to a neurologist for support from someone with knowledge ? I know there's no treatment for concussion other then rest, but maybe an acknowledgement of the problem would be reassuring at least....
Sadly the perception of West Wales being still in the stone age is quite true in terms of Head Injury. Our Health board covers three counties but we don't have a Head injury service or any rehab support. They seem to have abdicated all support to Headway and MIND
It goes all the way down to the GP whom don't understand the basics - the last GP we saw suggested that her memory problems could be down to the menopause !
It is sad reflection on where we are with the NHS
I'm sorry Sos. From the sound of things there I'm guessing that she's in the best place, with the love and restful atmosphere she needs to rally.
Sending my sincere best wishes for better days soon and hopes that the symptoms gradually abate. The coldness and palpitations are classic signs of shock. Please update me by message when you can ?
Love Cat x
Merry Christmas 😊 x
