A friend's dog

Hi folks,

If you saw my last post (which I made weeks ago) you would have found out that I am not posting so much art at the moment. I've got more things going on right now.

Anyhow, I finished this drawing yesterday.

I'm selling it to a friend of mine on Friday and I think she is going to pass it on to her friend for xmas?

Hi Matt what a happy doggy it feels as if he is ready to jump right of the paper into my lap so clever and well done. I am sure your friend will love this portrait as much as I do as it reminds me of Tim a much loved dog of my grandsons who recently sadly passed away. Much love Liz x🌹👍

Aww thanks Liz :).

My drawings are not only taking longer to produce because I have more going on in my life now but I think when I do some art I put a little more effort into it... and it shows :).

Sorry to hear about your grandson’s dog :(.

You've captured a really contented expression there Matt ; another great drawing. Good to hear you're also well occupied elsewhere, especially at the time of year when many of us (like me) are in hibernation ! x

Ah yes, I have another friend who goes into hibernation at this time of year. No it is not a bear either :).

This friend of mine is an amputee and in a wheelchair. She can’t really go out in this weather. The only time she gets out is when we meet up at our local disabled club (which has now finished for the year).

If you remember, my art exhibit was earlier in the year, January and February and so my friend wasn’t able to get out and come see my work :(.

But my next exhibit is next year during Spring/Summer (May and June) so she should have no trouble then :).

Where abouts do you live though? Are you in Hampshire?
