6 years home 😁

6 years ago today I came home after a year and 22 days in hospital 😁 the occupational therapist in the pic is Sam.. she is my absolute hero.. I owe her everything 😁 same to all the doctors, nurses & all the staff at Salford royal and Trafford general hospitals and even down to the canteen/restaurant staff.. much love and respect to them all 😁

Great hospital - great staff - great food ! Salford Royal is very close to my heart too Wazza . It's 7+years for me (flown by) and I'm eternally grateful to the brilliant surgeon who mended me and who was SO personable and kind.

Trafford Gen. is my local clinic/walk-in centre now but I remember the old days when in-patient care was second to none.

Keep making more memories ! Love Cat x

Hiya Cat.. I don’t really remember being in Salford royal but most of my memories of being in hospital are of Trafford general. Great hospital and staff 😁

I missed out on the first few weeks but the last few I remember how the food was 5* quality ; hot and delicious and very varied. I was in Wythenshawe hosp. recently and discharged myself as I was literally ravenous (lost 1/2stone in 4 days)……..dreadful stuff ! 😝

What an inspirational person you are ,it’s so very uplifting to hear news like yours when I see my notifications in the morning instead of negativity.

Thanks for posting and reminding of us of how lucky we are to have a NHS ,it could be worse we could have an American health system.

Well done what a great picture and a fantastic triumph returning home after such a long time in Hospital. I am sure this will be an encouragement to many other people who are and have been in the same situation as yourself. Love Liz x🌹

I do hope my story inspires other brain injury survivors but every brain injury is unique to the individual.. 😁
