Head pain in back of head after Gamma

I had gamma knife on Oct 22 and I have head pain in back of my head in the middle. Dr says too soon to be tumor...us this normal. I also have alot of balance issues and noies in one ear. I had a skull base tumor in cerebellum. It feels like pressure if some kind ..pain is different than before gamma

I don't have personal experience of Gamma Knife but I've seen details of the process and proof of its success here on the forum. Have you tried downloading information from the Headway site on GK and its after effects ? Alternatively you could ask for printouts by phoning the helpline on 0808 800 2244 (free calls - office hours).

I do know that, in terms of recovery, these are very early days, but I hope there'll be better days ahead for you Kit. Best wishes, Cat x

I had Gamma Knife, which caused no noticeable effects. Mine was to treat a AVM, which means in the targeted area the neurons had already been lost.
