Hello. I have just joined this forum. I suffered a subarachnoid haemorrhage in May of this year. I currently suffer vision problems, dizziness and memory lapses. I feel extremely isolated and frustrated. None of my family or friends understand my condition so don't know what to do for me. To be honest I don't really understand it myself. I would like to talk to others who are experiencing the same.

Hello forum
Hi Coralann my husband had the same in June 2017. He was in hospital for 9 months so you are doing amazingly well. We have been on a very long journey, but it improves all the time. I haven't been on here for a while but I found everyone so helpful last year and throughout. Are you getting support at all? I hugely recommend the Helpline, they helped me so much and when it all gets too much, great people to talk to. I wish you all the very best.
You need to talk.
That’s very important. Especially in the early days.
Contact the headway, maybe see if their is a support group in your area.
I found it is good to get face to face with people who also have brain injuries.
You will see you are not alone and although we can have different symptoms but we are all in the same boat.
I too had an sah and found the first couple of years incredibly difficult. I put my thoughts and learning into a website which you might find useful braininjuryftp.com I am 10 years on now and it's far better but it does take time. All the best with it
