Amanda woke up from her coma 6 days ago, after spending 2 months (8 weeks) in a coma and she's now semi-conscious but hasn't said anything to us yet.

Wonderful news!! You and Amanda's family must be over the moon that she is finally awake!! It took me a full week before I was fully awake after I woke up from my 13 weeks in a coma.

Great news . How is she now? And how long was it before she spoke?

I'm 4 months waiting for my husband to respond M (hypoxic injury )We get limb movements , wiggling about in bed a lot and Tracking . One giggle at a joke and a rare open your mouth command . 3 little signs but it's something to hold onto. Just wish he'd speak or follow commands . He also gets irritated by wetting himself and claws at his sheets.
